We are a COVID-secure College

Updated March 2022

We are a COVID-secure college and we have maintained some COVID-19 health and safety measures to ensure the college is a safe and secure place to study and stay. We aim to always ensure the college is a welcoming place but we realise that visitors will require reassurance that it is also a safe place.

COVID-related measures that are still in place include:

  • Although it is no longer a legal requirement for students, staff and visitors to wear masks, we support anyone who wishes to wear a mask at the college
  • Hand sanitizer points are in easily accessible places around the building
  • All classrooms have safe air purifiers running when the classroom is in use
  • Extra air purifying of classrooms is undertaken overnight when the classrooms are not in use
  • Having windows open, when practical, is encouraged
  • We have high precision Co2 detectors in classrooms which are monitored regularly
  • When the weather is warmer, where practical we promote the use of our 6 acres of grounds
  • Regular cleaning of the college is undertaken throughout the day
  • Students and staff are required to adhere to recommended behaviours to ensure the college remains a comfortable, harmonious and enjoyable place to study
  • Health and safety signage is in place throughout the college

We continue to monitor the state of COVID-19 in the UK and we are ready and prepared to re-implement any requirements made by the government should it be necessary in the future.
