These are the questions this course answers. Communities come in many different forms and go through stages in their development. We all live in a community and many of us want to know how to improve and develop our communities. If you are interested in community leadership and development then this course is a great start for exploring the issues and identifying a way forward. You will explore: The definition and meaning of community in your own context Barriers and challenges of community integration & cohesion How we can build bridges in communities Community leadership and how individuals can improve their local communities Entry Requirements You must be working at Level 1 or above in literacy. Progression This course will help develop life skills and self-development for individuals and those supporting others.
